Prices going through the roof, they keep going up. One of the least affordable places in the States. Lots of junkies everywhere too.

Seattle is a fine city to live in, with culture, outdoor activities, professional sports teams…
Unfortunately, unless you work in tech, for Microsoft or Amazon, etc., you can’t afford to live here. Property values are through the roof, as are rents, precisely because all those techies have moved here. The working class is pushed farther and farther out into the suburbs, while the small houses that were built around WWII— the heart of Seattle’s identity and personality—are torn down and replaced with ugly McMansions.
It’s a fine place to live, if you’re wealthy. Otherwise, not so much.

I love how they use New York one of the biggest if not the biggest yuppie cities in the US. Okay compare Seattle to any other city other than New York or San Fran or LA. Try and make it sound like its cheap to live here than go on to throw a graph up that shows 42% of your wage goes to rent. No wonder Seattle has hipsters running to it from all over the world. Come here and give your wage back to this utopia that believes a majority of your paycheck should go to bills and surviving.

Seattle has never been a good city for business because presentation is everything especially for new businesses thinking about opening. The streets are in disrepair and trash overflowing in the streets.

This website has given very good Estimations of Cost of living, It's authentically true approximations given by some actually living in Seattle, some prices are little high but most of them are correct to the best of my knowledge.
