PRO TIPS

Adjust sweetness and tartness. This recipe makes about 10-12 servings. You can adjust the sweetness and tartness of the punch to your liking by adding more or less lemon or orange juice.

Make it non-alcoholic. If you prefer a non-alcoholic version of this punch, you can substitute the Prosecco with sparkling apple cider or ginger ale.

Reduce sweetness. If you want to make the punch less sweet, you can reduce the amount of honey or use a less sweet apple cider.

Adjust cinnamon flavor. For a stronger cinnamon flavor, you can simmer the cinnamon sticks in the apple cider for 10-15 minutes before making the punch.

Use dried rosemary sticks. If you don’t have fresh rosemary, you can use dried rosemary or omit it altogether. I would suggest using it as it gives a very aromatic note.

SUBSTITUTIONS & ADDITIONS

  • If you don’t have ginger beer, you can use ginger ale or lemon-lime soda instead.
  • Instead of honey, you can use maple syrup, agave nectar, or brown sugar to sweeten the punch.
  • If you want to use pumpkin in your punch, add pumpkin puree for a spiced pumpkin fall punch.
  • Use chilled champagne if you don’t have Prosecco on hand. You can use a cheap champagne or wine as a base for this recipe, because all the other flavors and ginger beer will make the magic work. (It’s optional, you can of course use an expensive one too.)
